It is with so much sadness to say that my sweet girl Mavis was hit by a car on Thursday afternoon. Mavis was rushed to an emergency vet hospital and survived. She was placed on life saving support and 24 hour care. Her intensive care for 48 hours alone was $11,000. My family and I did everything we could to make this possible on our end by splitting payment across multiple accounts and credit cards leaving us with a great deal of financial stress which is still no comparison to the heartache we feel that this happened to such a special member of our family. Mavis has returned home as of 06/03/2023 but is not able to walk or stand on her own. It is crucial for her to have an MRI done as soon as possible in order to take the next step towards a full recovery. My sweet girl deserves a hundred more years and your prayers and help would mean the world to me as we get through this nightmare. Mavis and I recently lost our best friend Dakota and to lose Mavis would leave me absolutely broken.
