Help save Marco Sports after Robbery

Hello, my name is Marco Bibian, i’m one of the owners’ son from Marco Sports. A local business that has been part of the Gorge Community for 22 years. In these past 22 years, we’ve become very close to our customers and the community, and for the most part it’s been been a peaceful

time here in Hood River, OR. Unfortunately, this past Friday Feb, 3rd my mother Doña Rosa and my brother Alan were robbed at gun point. The armed robber not only left them and the customers traumatized, but also took a substantial amount of funds. Thankfully no one was hurt and we were able to cover our customers funds. But, that has left my parents with a huge debt. Our insurance will cover some of the losses, but that won’t be enough to cover what was taken and the additional expenses that have came along with the unfortunate event. As much as we wish we could cover the losses and move on from this incident, we simply can’t due to the amount taken and it being a huge portion of my parents life savings. As many as you know, my parents are elderly and my brother Alan has health issues related to lupus, this business is what they relay on in order to keep their lively hood. We would appreciate any donations to help my parents and Alan save our family business and it will also allow us to move forward from this awful event. Hola, mi nombre es Marco Bibian, soy unit de los hijos de los dueños de Marco Sports. Un negocio local que ha sido parte de la Comunidad del Gorge durante 22 años. En estos últimos 22 años, nos hemos acercado mucho a nuestros clientes y a la comunidad, y en su mayor parte ha sido pacífico el tiempo aquí en Hood River, Oregón. Lamentablemente, el pasado viernes 3 de Febrero asaltaron a punta de pistola a mi madre Doña Rosa y a mi hermano Alan. El ladrón a mano armada no solo los dejó a ellos y a los clientes traumatizados, sino que también se llevó una cantidad sustancial de fondos. Afortunadamente, nadie resultó herido y pudimos cubrir los fondos de nuestros clientes. Pero eso ha dejado a mis padres con una gran deuda. Nuestro seguro cubrirá algunas de las pérdidas, pero eso no será suficiente para cubrir lo que se llevó y los gastos adicionales que surgieron junto con el desafortunado evento. Por mucho que deseáramos poder cubrir las pérdidas y seguir adelante con este incidente, simplemente no podemos debido a la cantidad tomada y ya que es una gran parte de los ahorros de toda la vida de mis padres. Como saben, mis padres son mayores de edad y mi hermano Alan tiene problemas de salud relacionados con el lupus, este negocio es en lo que ellos dependen para mantenerse. Apreciaríamos cualquier donación para ayudar a mis padres y a Alan a salvar nuestro negocio familiar y también nos permitirá salir adelante de este terrible evento.
