Help Sierra Save Maisie – Emergency Vet Care Needed
Many of you in our rescue community know Sierra. She is one of the amazing people who is always there when a dog needs help — fostering, stepping in when we’re overwhelmed, and giving these animals the love and safety they deserve.
About a year ago, Sierra adopted one of the dumped dogs we rescued. Some of you may remember her — sweet little Maisie. She finally got the happy ending every rescue dog hopes for.
Now Sierra and Maisie need our help.
Maisie recently ate part of a wooden coaster and quickly became very sick. Her stomach became bloated, she stopped eating, and she became extremely lethargic. Sierra rushed her to the 24-hour emergency vet, where doctors are trying to determine if there is a dangerous blockage.
Right now, time is critical. Emergency diagnostics and treatment are expensive, but waiting is not an option when a dog could have a blockage.
Sierra has always been the person who steps up for our rescue dogs when they need somewhere safe to land. She never hesitates to help.
Now it’s our turn to help her.
If you’re able to donate anything at all, it would mean the world to Sierra and could help save Maisie’s life. Every dollar will go directly toward Maisie’s emergency veterinary care.
And if you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser so we can reach as many people as possible.
In rescue, we always say it takes a village — and moments like this remind us how important that village really is.
Thank you all for supporting Sierra and sweet Maisie. ❤️
