Help Save Maddy Girl

Dena and I took our babygirl Maddox to the vet yesterday on 2/25 after noticing that she had become lethargic and had a bloated belly. After having some initial scans done, it was quickly determined that Maddox was bleeding internally in to her abdomen, due to a splenic mass. After the initial trauma, and realizing the nature of her condition, we have been scrambling to figure out the best next course of action. Yesterday was a very traumatic, but today we need to fight for our baby girl. She is so strong and lively, and has so much more life left to live.

We have precious time, and a window to try and save Maddox’s life if we perform an emergency splenectomy. We’ve received estimates from several veterinary hospitals and the cost of her initial tests and surgery will run approx $6,000 - $8,000.  If the tumor is determined to be cancerous we expect to incur additional charges for post surgical treatment. We will make the best determination after the mass has been removed, and post treatment plans have been presented to us.
