Macey has been my constant companion through some of the hardest times in my life. When I felt alone and had no one else to turn to, she’s been there, Always! She’s More loyal & loves me more than probably any other person in my life.. She truly is like my child and my best friend, and I can’t imagine my life without her. Macey’s joy and unconditional love has saved me more times than I can count, and she means everything to me.

This morning, I noticed something was wrong while changing her diaper. What I thought was a normal part of her heat cycle turned out to be a red growth. After rushing her to the vet, I learned it was a tumor, and she needs life-saving surgery within the next 15 days. As a single pet parent who only works a couple days a week, I simply cannot afford the cost of this urgent procedure. It breaks my heart to think that, just because I don’t have the money, I might not be able to save her life. I’m doing all that I can for her but still feel like I’m letting her down.
