Update on Luna 9/6/25

Luna was able to come home last night, but soon after she began having trouble breathing and we had to rush her back to the hospital. She is since being treated for aspiration pneumonia.

The situation was very serious, with her chances being about 50/50. Thankfully, she is responding well to treatment, and the vet is optimistic about her recovery.

We’re relieved to see her improving, but she still needs close monitoring and ongoing care. Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support — it means the world to us and to Luna.

Update on Luna 9/2/25

With all the donations and with family support, Luna was able to get her surgery. Luna is now out of the surgery and she did well! They were able to save most of her pancreas. The vet called this morning and said she was even purring for one of the technicians earlier! She does have a long road to recovery and possible FIP which will need further treatment. We are all so very grateful for all of the generous donations <3

Hi, my name is Juliana, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My cat Luna urgently needs emergency surgery that will cost between $10,000–$15,000.

Luna isn’t just a pet—she was my mom’s cat. When my mom passed away from cancer in 2023, I promised her I would take care of Luna. She has been my best friend and my source of comfort through grief and loss. In so many ways, she cared for me as much as I cared for her after my mom’s passing.

Now, Luna is the one who needs help. She has been diagnosed with a rare life-threatening condition, and surgery is her only chance.

Luna means the world to me. Saving her life would mean keeping a piece of my mom’s love alive too.
