Hi this is Luka our Old English Sheep dog puppy. Luka is 4 months old and 36 lbs and is our baby.

A few days ago Luka begin feeling I’ll. He wasn’t his happy playful self and wouldn’t get up and wouldn’t eat or drink anything.

I knew something wasn’t right so I rushed him to the animal emergency clinic.

5 hours later we were given terrible news that Luka had contracted Parvo. This came as a surprise because he hadn’t been around any other dogs and had received all of his vaccines as required and on time.

Parvo can be deadly in dogs and so far the vet hasn’t said one way or another if she thinks he will survive. However we were able to catch it early and because he’s so big and healthy, we have a good chance of survival so long as he remains in the hospital with an IV giving him fluids. As of tonight they are seeing little improvements from him so we remain hopeful.

The problem is I am already 5k deep in debt over this ordeal and cannot financially afford to keep him in the hospital, where he needs to be. Staying in the hospital gives him a much better chance of survival since they are equipped to deal with this disease where I am not.

Luka is part of our family and my 3 sons absolutely adore him and he’s got so much life left to live.

I am not a fan of asking for help but our baby will die without hospitalization due to this terrible disease. If you can spare any money at all to help us keep Luka in the hospital and alive so he can recover, our family would be forever grateful to you. Thank you so much in advance.
