Lucy is my sweet, gray little miniature pinscher that I rescued five years ago. She’s been by my side through so much, and she’s part of a loving family with her brothers, Tater and Duke. This morning, I woke up to find Lucy glazed over and lifeless on the couch. My heart dropped, and I rushed her to the emergency hospital. Right now, I’m sitting in the lobby, waiting and hoping for good news. The vets have told me that just the diagnostics alone are expensive, and even if they figure out what’s wrong, it could be a long and costly road to recovery. I’ve tried everything I can think of—applying for credit cards, Care Credit, loans, and even offering my Bronco as collateral—but nothing has worked. I feel completely helpless and overwhelmed.
The funds raised here will go directly toward Lucy’s vet bills, her care, and everything she needs to get healthy again. I want nothing more than to see her come home, play with her brothers and sisters, and live the happy life she deserves. She has so much life left to live, and I can’t imagine our family without her.
I’ve never asked for help before, but I’m reaching out now because I don’t know what else to do. Money shouldn’t be the reason Lucy doesn’t get a chance to recover. If you’re able to donate, share, or even send kind words, it would mean the world to me. I’m trusting that, by the grace of God, something will happen to save her. Thank you for reading and for any support you can give.
