Update* Lucy is undergoing emergency surgery right now. She is currently toxic with closed pyometra. The vet is hoping to remove her uterus without any complications, this is a fatal condition.

Lucy has been my best friend and work buddy for 11 years. There was a time in my life when she was the only thing I had to live for, always there for me in my darkest times. She’s not just a pet—she’s my family, and I want to do everything I can to save her.

Recently, Lucy faced a severe infection called pyometra, but she fought through and recovered. Just as she was getting back to her regular self, she hurt her ankle, and after another recovery, she suddenly stopped eating and drinking. Over the past week, she’s lost a lot of weight, and her initial doctor visit, urine analysis, and bloodwork have already been very costly. This is just the start, as she’ll need more tests, treatments, and medication to get better.

I am reaching out because I need help to give Lucy the care she deserves. Anything anyone can give to help is appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
