My name is Nancy, and my dog Lucy is truly my best friend and constant companion. She means everything to me—she’s my family, my comfort, and my joy. Recently, Lucy became very sick. I noticed blood in her urine and rushed her to see Dr. Cornelius at Banfield for an evaluation. The veterinarian took the time to explain Lucy’s condition to me, and I learned that she has bladder stones and blood in her urine, which is causing her a lot of pain. It’s even become difficult for her to go to the bathroom, and seeing her struggle breaks my heart.

After the examination, Dr. Cornelius told me that Lucy needs surgery in order to survive. The cost of the surgery is very expensive, and as much as I want to do everything for her, I simply can’t afford it on my own.
