Lovin' Spoonfuls has been a part of our community for 20 years, and for the past three years, we've had the privilege of carrying on its legacy. This is our last Hail Mary. We want to be completely transparent with all of you: we no longer have money to put into Lovin' Spoonfuls. The debt has just become too much. It's not that no one comes in to eat—we do continue to have support—but it is just not enough to cover the debt and expenses. The only way to keep going is to get rid of the debt, and we have no more options. We're reaching out to the community because we can't see Lovin' Spoonfuls go, and we're hoping others feel the same.
If funds are raised, we will pay off debt and be able to move forward with just the normal expenses of running a restaurant, like rent, food, labor, lights, water, and insurance. Your support will give us a chance to keep serving the community we love and continue being a gathering place for so many wonderful people.
We have felt the support of the community since we took over 3 years ago. For that reason, we took on the challenge of keeping it open then. We have met so many wonderful people and have built amazing relationships. Thank you for being part of our journey and for considering helping us keep Lovin' Spoonfuls open.
