A week ago, our sweet girl Lovey stopped acting like herself; She started sleeping more, eating less, and having accidents in the house which we believed was the result of a UTI. Today, after three days without much improvement Lovey was brought to the emergency vet where she was diagnosed with a life threatening condition called Pyometra. The cost of the surgery to save Loveys life is over $10,000 and pet insurance will not cover it because of an autoimmune disease she was diagnosed with three years ago. If you know our family or have met Lovey, then you know how special she is to us. I am not typically one to ask for donations but today we could use all the support we can get.
