My dog Lotus, who is 11 years old, was just taken to a vet recently and I was told she has a very large tumor close to her stomach and spleen. We are not entirely sure what it's attached to, but it is extremely large. The vet says it's big enough, that it's moved her spleen out of alignment. We were told that she shouldn't be in any pain, but is very uncomfortable. We also don't know when the tumor will rupture, but were told it will happen, and now we are terrified at every moment.

We were referred to a specialist immediately for surgery, but we unfortunately don't have enough funds to get the surgery at this time. We really want to get it for her, because the alternative is having to put her down. All funds from this GoFundMe would go towards funding the surgery and possibly her recovery. Any help is greatly appreciated... I just recently went back to school and had to drop some shifts at work. I've had more financial stress because of this.

She has a new puppy brother and an extremely loving family who wants as much time with her as possible. Lotus is an extremely kind, sweet, and gentle soul who has been with me her entire life and through very hard times in my own life. She is silly and cheers everyone up around her and she loves very small toys and lounging with her family. These funds will obviously be going into the surgery, and anything unneeded will be donated.
