Help Save Lord Sniffington's Life

My sweet dog, Lord Sniffington (Sniffy), is fighting for his life. He’s only 3 years old—a long-haired mini dachshund, black and tan, full of joy and love. He is the happiest little guy, always friendly, always ready to chase squirrels. Now, our world has turned upside down.

On August 31st, Sniffy suddenly began vomiting white and yellow foam. We rushed him to the ER pet hospital, where his first x-ray didn’t show anything major, so we thought it might be gas or constipation. But later that night, his condition worsened. He vomited green and yellow bile with specks of black, and we rushed him back to the ER.

The second x-ray revealed what we feared: Sniffy had a severe intestinal obstruction. The vet explained it was like a “toilet being blocked”—nothing could pass through. Emergency surgery was the only option. During the procedure, they discovered a peach pit lodged in his intestine. He endured a long, critical surgery, followed by days in intensive care with a feeding tube, IV fluids, and numerous medications.

On September 4th, Sniffy was finally discharged, and we thought he was on the path to recovery. But just two days later, on September 6th, we had to rush him back to the ER. His surgical site had developed a painful infection with pus, and now he is once again in critical care fighting to heal.

So far, his medical bills have already exceeded $20K, and costs are still climbing as he continues to receive life-saving care. Every penny, no matter the amount, will go directly toward his ongoing treatment.
