Hello everyone,

I've created this GoFundMe page because my brother Matthew is facing a critical challenge with his best friend Lola! On Wednesday, the 5th of February, Matt and Sarah had to take Lola to the emergency vet due to some life-threatening issues. She has been diagnosed with acute hemorrhagic diarrhea syndrome (AHDS), also known as hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE), which is a sudden and serious condition in dogs that causes vomiting and bloody diarrhea. Her glucose levels have dropped to an unsafe level. Lola has been at the Animal Hospital ever since Wednesday night and, as you can imagine, has already racked up quite a bill. In order to receive proper treatment, she will need to stay in the hospital for possibly weeks to get better.

They roughly need $25,000 to cover her hospital stay and all medical expenses. Time is of the essence here! We don't want to lose a part of our family so soon and all of a sudden. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

Update!!! Because of your amazing contributions we are able to get Lola the testing she needed in order to be properly diagnose her. She is on quite a few medications and may need to be for the rest of her life. They are in the process of testing her for Insulinoma. This is a tumor of the pancreas that produces excessive amounts of insulin, leading to low blood sugar. Right now, Lola is safely back at home with her family!!
