Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US for ALL ages, and not only is there is one death by suicide every 12 minutes, only half of all Americans experiencing an episode of majority depression receive treatment. (SAVE.ORG)
Second Home is a non-profit organization I decided to create about a year ago in honor of a good friend of mine named Dayton who took his own life.
Second Home’s mission is dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Our dream is to create a safe place for our youth in need that radiates hope, a place with endless options and opportunities. A place that feels like home. Second Home is a movement as well as a non-profit, my dream is to save as many lives as I can and to spread love and hope to those in need. We have a couple buildings in mind at the moment and a small yet growing glowing team grinding day and night to make this dream into reality.
