Help Save Lives by Supporting Out-of-State Dog Transports

Tax deductible
The Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center achieved a remarkable 99.27% live release rate in August 2024—a testament to the life-saving efforts happening every day. But to maintain this success, we urgently need your help.

Each month, dogs need to be transported out of state to make space for new intakes, giving them a second chance at life. Without this transport, overcrowding could force the shelter to make heartbreaking decisions.

We’re aiming to raise $5,000 by the end of October for a critical, private transport that will help free up much-needed space. Every donation directly sponsors a dog’s journey to safety—just $160 can give a dog the chance they deserve.

You have the power to make this life-saving trip possible. Please donate today to Friends of Rescue Animals and be a part of the solution!

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization. FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter. Our organization has grown to over 300 volunteers who support the Rowlett Animal Shelter, the Garland Animal Shelter and our FRAs Cat Rescue program.
