I never expected that rescuing a cat would turn into something this big—but I couldn’t walk away.
I took in three Bengals from a home with over 60 cats living in unsafe, overcrowded conditions. Many of them were sick and injured, Honey was no exception. This situation ended up in multiple calls to animal services and even Peel Regional Police, attempting to get the rest of the cats help. Despite everything, Honey was gentle, trusting, and deserved a chance at a better life.
Not long after bringing Honey home, I found out she was pregnant.
She gave birth to a beautiful litter of kittens, each one a reminder that even in the worst situations, something good can still grow. But one of the kittens was born with a severe deformity in their foot- we called him Littlefoot. What started as concern has now turned into something much more serious—it’s become infected, and the vet believes this baby will likely need intensive treatment, possibly even amputation, to survive and have a good quality of life.
On top of that, Honey came with a persistent parasite that has already cost a significant amount in vet care, medications, and ongoing treatment. I’ve been doing everything I can on my own, but the costs are quickly becoming overwhelming.
I’m not asking for help lightly—but I truly can’t do this alone anymore. I don’t want to be stuck in the horrible situation between giving this kitten life saving surgery or euthanasia so I’m reaching out for support.
Every dollar will go directly toward:
• Emergency veterinary care
• Medications and treatment
• Surgery and recovery for the kitten
• Basic care to keep all of them safe and healthy
If you can donate, share, or even just send some support, it would mean everything to me—and to these cats who didn’t get a fair start in life.
They deserve a chance. I’m just trying to give it to them.
