Help Save Little Cat's Life - Caspian's Crusade

Donation protected
This sweet little boy needs your help! His name is Caspian. He is a friendly, beautiful half-Siamese cat and at the tender age of 5 he has been diagnosed with a heart disease that could take his life within a year if not given the proper medical treatment.

When he was a tiny kitten, he literally chose his Mommy, Chelsea, by coming to her doorstep night after night until she took him in. She fell in love with him right away and they have been inseparable ever since. They have been through so much together, living in 3 different states and sharing in all of the life changes that have followed these two along the way. Chelsea has taken amazing care of him thus far. She is an animal lover who for years has walked dogs and taken care of pups when they have needed care and love too. Caspian, however, always has the most special place in her heart, and she would be absolutely devastated to lose him to a preventable early death so soon in their journey together.

Just this weekend of Halloween 2021, Caspian went into the ER for an accidental poisoning after ingesting a flower that affected his kidneys, and while there, the heart disease was revealed to the doctors and to Chelsea. In addition to this, Caspian has had a lifelong environmental allergy, and so the combination of all of these things has left Chelsea quite distraught.

Caspian will need to start having regular visits to the cardiologist, be put on a whole new set of medications, and have his X-Rays taken often to keep his heart in check. But with all of this, Caspian's life could be extended anywhere up to 3-5 years, maybe even more if they were very lucky. Chelsea is eager to do all she can to help that happen, however, she is in a complicated financial spot right now, still unemployed from the pandemic, and very low on the funds that would be required to keep her baby cat alive. The emergency visit alone was almost $5,000, and all of the future visits to come will only keep racking up in cost.

Chelsea now finds herself in the position of needing to ask for help from generous, loving people like you. She and her cat are both very vulnerable and so this GoFundMe is the only place she can really turn to. She desperately wants her cat to have a long and healthy life and without the proper medications and visits, he could experience sudden death within 6 months to a year. Her goal is to prevent this at all costs, so time is of the essence. She would be eternally grateful for whoever could aid her and her baby cat in that.

If you or someone you know are able and willing to contribute any amount at all, it would mean the world to Chelsea and Caspian. No amount is too small and every little bit makes a difference in saving this beautiful cat's life. Thank you so much for reading his story and for considering making a difference for him.
