Help Save Lianee – Our Sassy, Snuggly Bunny Warrior

Hi everyone

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for help for someone very special to our family — our rescue rabbit, Lianee.

Lianee came into our lives after surviving on the streets for weeks. She was rescued by Romeo’s Rabbit Rescue, but because of her feisty and sassy personality (think bunny with a big attitude in a tiny body!), she struggled to find her forever home — until we found each other. And just like that, our hearts clicked.

Since then, Lianee has become a part of our family in every way. She cuddles with us, sleeps in our bed, and has brought so much love and healing into our lives — especially during my hardest moments battling anxiety. She’s not just a pet, she’s our comfort, our snuggle bug, our little warrior.

But now Lianee is in the fight of her life. She’s been diagnosed with a liver lobe torsion, a life-threatening condition causing her liver to bleed internally. She’s been in care at the vet hospital for the past two days (UPV for medical management and the nighttime emergency vet for overnight care) but needs emergency surgery with Dr Chris at LPV tomorrow if she makes it through the night.

The vet bills are climbing quickly, and as a newly married mum with a baby girl, it’s a lot to carry. My husband supports us full-time while I care for my mother who has Parkinson’s. Every little bit would mean the world to us and help give Lianee the fighting chance she deserves.
