Hello everyone and thank you for reading our story about our loving family Pug, Leyla. Back in 2022, my grandfather unfortunately past away. Sometime after we said our goodbyes, me and my mother agreed that we wanted happiness returned into our home, we thought a dog can do just that.

Looking around, we didn't have much of an idea of what kind. All we hoped for was a puppy we can have with us for many years. Some close family members told us their pugs just had puppy's. And that's when our new gorgeous member of our home was found. Having the face only a mother can love (she is beautiful in her own way ♥️) we settled on this runt of the litter, Leyla.

Brought her home and has since been a core and definition of a faithful and loving canine. She is around 4 years old, born on Thanksgiving 2021. My mom calls her the daughter she has never had, making me her big brother. Which is pretty true cus dang, she can be a total spoiled brat sometimes! Regardless, this dog has now been a wonderful ball of unconditional love in our house and always being scrappy, exciting, energetic and very happy to anyone and everyone willing to play with her.

On February 12, when I was going outside, she ran out fast and through our front gate into the street, a car drove and kept driving, hitting her without stopping, all of this happened so fast. She is alive, but now has suffered a dislocated elbow and fracture injury. Taking her to the emergency pet hospital, this bill is going to be very expensive.

The funding for the surgery will be extremely hard for us, everyone in our home only having part-time jobs. Which is why, if you can find it in your heart to help raise funds to save our loving dogs life, would absolutely mean the world to us.
