Hi friends and family! This past friday (2/28), my family dog Leo was taken to the vet for a check up and ended up having to be admitted into the emergency hospital due to internal bleeding. Update 3/6: Leo's doctors have confirmed that his immune system is attacking his platelets. He has received 2 blood transfusions so far and may need more, he also is on a lot of medication to try to suppress his immune system. This is a serious condition, but also treatable in 70%-90% of dogs. He is still critical and needs LOTS of prayers!! They are doing everything they can to save our sweet boy. Any funds donated will be going towards his hospital bill so we can continue to get him the care he so desperately needs.
