Hi, my name is Khrystyna, and I’m fundraising for my cat Leo — my best friend and emotional support through the hardest times in my life.

Leo and I have been through so much together. He’s been by my side through anxiety, tears, tough days, and loneliness. When I had no one else, I had Leo. He is more than just a cat — he’s my family, my emotional support, my safe place.

On Friday night Leo suddenly lost control of his back legs and was crying in pain. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where we were told he has cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) and likely aortic thromboembolism (ATE) — a serious condition that blocks blood flow to the legs and can be fatal without urgent care.

Leo has been hospitalized since May 9th. We’ve already paid over $8,300 for emergency care, testing, and treatment — and we are expecting another $1,000–$2,000 for a cardiologist visit this Sunday.

The good news is — Leo started walking again. It’s a small but powerful sign of hope. He’s trying so hard, and I truly believe he wants to come home and keep fighting.

I’m currently unemployed, and this has been financially devastating. I’ve used all my savings and maxed out my credit cards to keep Leo alive and give him a chance.

Leo is the sweetest soul. He purrs when I visit, looks into my eyes like he understands everything, and he’s giving everything he has to heal. Please help me save him — not just for his life, but for mine too.
