Hi, my name is Linda and my beloved cat’s name is Leda. I rescued Leda from a local shelter when she was a little kitty. Now, she is 8 years old. Leda means the world to me. She brings me joy, laughter, and loving companionship. Even though, Leda has had a medically challenged life and is a special needs cat, she is the bravest, most resilient little being I know. She still enjoys a good quality of life.

 

Sadly, Leda has recently been diagnosed with cancer in her left ear. According to Leda’s oncologist, the most effective treatment is radiation. UC Davis is licensed for this type of treatment, and they are confident that this will resolve Leda’s cancer.

 

I have set up this GoFundMe account for Leda because the cost of the treatment may be $2200 which I need help raising since I cannot afford this amount by myself. But from what I know, in my life, is that it takes a village to raise and compassionately care for each other and all sentient beings. Now, with a humble heart I am reaching out to my village to ask for help to save Leda’s life.
