Help Save Lea the Husky's Life

Many of Sara’s family and friends have watched as the story of Lea, the story of love, has unfolded. Lea is a Thai beach dog. At 6 weeks old, she found her way into Sara’s heart. Since they met, Lea has been dedicated to Sara. Unconditional love, unfaltering emotional support, cuddle buddy, playmate, best friend - these are the words that come to mind when I think of Sara and Lea.

Lea is in trouble and she needs our help. Sara has spent months preparing Lea to travel across the world with her. They left Thailand full of excitement and hope, ready for their new lives and new adventures in Canada. Lea traveled like a champ. As an emotional support dog, Lea never left Sara’s side. She won over the hearts of crew members and fellow passengers alike. She made everyone who shared their flights a little happier. She is a good dog.

Lea’s life is in danger. After only a couple of days in Canada, she became ill, very ill. She is currently at the vet awaiting test results. Lea appears to be having liver complications. She is fighting for her life. Please help Sara and Lea through this terribly difficult time. Lea has come so far in her beautiful life and anything we can do to help her through this obstacle will be much appreciated.
