Help save Kurt and Julie Vail’s baby.
Hello to all friends, family, and individuals who would have an open heart to help save a child that we haven’t met yet. My name is Kurt and on February 12th 2025, Julie and I were given the joyful news that she was pregnant with our first child after having tried for several years.
However on March 21st 2025, we were given the most devastating news that there was a complication with the pregnancy and that our child could come very early and may not have a chance to survive. Julie was then admitted to the hospital long term for close monitoring.
In short, we’re both very terrified for the survival of our first born, the pending long term hospital and medical costs, and everything that would be involved for a child to be saved in the NICU. To make matters worse, our insurance sent a letter that Julie’s entire stay was denied, after much back and forth calls and sleepless nights, they’ve only approved one day, but we’re not even sure how much will be covered. We’re also saddened that Julie won’t get to have a proper baby shower and that we won’t be able to take parenting classes together since she’s admitted until the child is born. But those inconveniences are nothing compared to having a healthy baby be born.
If you find it in your heart to help donate to our cause, click on our “Go Fund Me” link to help pay for all pending medical costs that aren’t covered, expenses for a child to be treated in the NICU, and items the child would need when they come home, we would be forever grateful and you would be helping to save a baby’s life. But more importantly, we are in desperate need of prayers for our child’s life. So if you could share this on your social medias for other people to see our need, again we would be blessed beyond belief. A prayer and a share could get us very far. We love you all, it is so difficult to ask for help, but the generous friends and family that have been helping us around the house told us to accept help when it is given and ask for help when it is needed.
To help brighten Julie’s hospital stay, I’ve been there every day at the hospital doing the one thing I know I can do best, painting her peaceful landscapes. I’ve been calling them, “Landscapes for Life.” Thank you all again.
Kurt, Julie, and soon to be baby Myles ❤️
