Help Save Kove

Our kids fostered then adopted Kove in 2019 from Hollywood Huskies (an incredible rescue organization) in Los Angeles. She is the light of their lives and part of their family. In addition to being diagnosed with glaucoma a few months ago, she has now developed some urgent health issues that the vets are still trying to figure out. She has been in the ER vet three times in the last month, and will have to remain there over the weekend so she can get an MRI on Monday. The kiddos have pet insurance, but must pay everything up-front before that will kick in. Veterinary care is expensive (but worth it), and we want to make sure she receives the best care possible with hopes they can figure out what is causing her issues, and create a treatment plan for her. They have already paid out over $5000 in the last month, with more costs coming up with this weekend stay as well as the MRI on Monday. The kids are currently unable to be with her or even visit with her due to Covid restrictions, and leaving her at the vet hospital today has been devastating. Our sweet Kove girl is an integral part of our family, and we will do whatever it takes to save her.
