Hello, everyone. My name is Juan Barrero, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family and my sister, Andrea Barrero, to share the story of our beloved Koa. Koa, a Blue Heeler whose name fittingly means “warrior,” was the heart of our family, always watching over us and making sure we were safe and loved. Koa and Andrea shared an incredible bond; they were inseparable, and he was her shadow, her warrior, her best friend.

Recently, Koa faced a sudden health crisis. After developing a tear in his spleen, we learned that he had cancer, which had been causing internal bleeding. Koa fought bravely, and we did everything possible to save him. Despite all efforts, his body couldn’t overcome the effects of the disease, and Koa passed away. His loss has left an unimaginable void in our lives, but we know he’ll always be with us in spirit, watching over us as he always did.

We’re now asking for help to cover the medical expenses from his treatment. These costs accumulated quickly as we sought to give him every chance possible. Any support would go directly to these expenses and help ease the financial burden on our family during this difficult time.
