A while ago, my wife and I had a wonderful dog named Roxy who needed a friend. One day, while walking around a local swap meet, we saw Kleo and instantly knew we had to give her a better life and a companion. Roxy and Kleo became inseparable, and over the years, Roxy taught Kleo to be gentle and well-behaved. When Roxy passed away from old age, Kleo was left alone, but she has grown so much and now reminds us of Roxy in the way she acts and cares for her younger animal siblings.

Kleo is an athletic, sweet, and lovable dog who brings so much joy to our home. She loves spending time with our cats, especially Tish, and enjoys the healthy meals we cook for her, like dog-safe chicken soup and steak. Recently, we noticed a sudden change in Kleo’s behavior—she stopped eating, wouldn’t get up, and just wasn’t herself. We rushed her to the vet, where we learned she has a life-threatening infection. Unfortunately, we didn’t qualify for assistance or insurance, and we were financially unprepared for this emergency.

Kleo is more than just a pet—she’s family. She greets us every day when we come home and fills our lives with love. The thought of losing her so suddenly has left us heartbroken. We are reaching out for help because we want to give Kleo the chance to recover and continue being the light in our home.
