Kingston has been by my side since he was just six weeks old. For the past ten years, he’s been more than just a pet—he’s my companion, my protector, and my emotional support. Living with PTSD after surviving trauma, Kingston’s presence has brought me comfort and security. His deep baritone bark keeps me safe in a high-crime area, and his gentle spirit brings light to my darkest days. I truly believe he’s a gift from God, and I’m grateful for every moment we share.

Recently, Kingston was diagnosed with an internal bleed and a mass tumor that requires urgent surgery. Because of his size, the anesthesia and procedure are especially expensive. On top of that, he needs a special diet to stay healthy. I cover all our living expenses, and it’s a struggle to make ends meet from paycheck to paycheck. Despite these challenges, I’m determined to do everything I can to give Kingston the care he needs. With this surgery, he could have another four or five happy, healthy years by my side.

I’m reaching out for help because I can’t do this alone. Kingston is my joy in sadness and my light in the darkness.
