Help Save King Louie’s Eye – Emergency Surgery Needed
King Louie isn’t just a dog—he’s family. 6years old, a sweet, loving companion who brings joy to our lives. He’s also a diabetic, bravely taking 34 units of insulin every day, and on daily medications, he has already undergone cataract surgery to restore his vision.
Unfortunately, Louie is now facing another serious challenge: he has developed dry eye and a painful ulcer in his left eye. The condition is severe and requires emergency surgery to save his eye and preserve his vision. Without immediate surgery, Louie is at risk of losing the eye completely—or worse, it could rupture.
Dr. Lanuza, a highly skilled veterinary ophthalmologist at OcuVet in Los Angeles (Santa Monica Blvd), will be performing the complex surgery. It involves removing the ulcer, performing a graft, and implementing a procedure to restore moisture to his eye. The surgery cannot wait—timing is critical to save Louie’s eye and stop his pain.
We’re asking for $8,500 to help cover the cost of the surgery and necessary post-operative medications.
If you’re able to contribute, every dollar makes a difference. If you’re not in a position to donate, we’d be so grateful if you could share this campaign to help us reach more people.
For those who prefer to verify or donate directly, you can contact Louie’s vet at: OcuVet – Veterinary Eye Specialists Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
(You can mention King Louie under Dr. Lanuza’s care.)
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and kindness. Let’s help King Louie see a brighter tomorrow.
