Help Save King: A fight against IVDD

Hello Everyone

I have unfortunately received the news no Dachshund owner ever wants to hear after an awful week in and out of emergency with misdiagnoses. My beautiful baby boy King has been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). Without the required treatment and surgery he may be paralysed indefinitely.

King still has such a beautiful life ahead of him. I am simply begging for any type of assistance or help. King is covered by pet insurance but unfortunately his annual allowances within his policy have already been consumed by an entire weeks worth of vet visits and overnight treatments ( first assumed he wasn’t wanting to move due to pancreatitis or Gastro with all his awful gastro symptoms and lack of movement ) after completing an MRI and CT scans it’s only providing a residual amount left over to put towards the surgery he needs and I am falling slightly short.

The road to recovery will be challenging but with surgery he has a strong chance to return to his boisterous and energetic self in time. I would be eternally grateful for anyone that can provide support to get him and me through this extremely difficult period.
