Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your help. I hate to ask for financial help but my beloved cat, Kimi, needs urgent surgery, and I can't do it alone.

Kimi is my 5-year-old, weird, goofy, chonky, demon baby who is full of sass whom I've had since she was randomly appeared in my backyard thanks to the cat distribution system. Recently, her curiosity (and stupidity) got the best of her and Kimi accidentally ingested something small that is now lodged in her small intestine. The only way to save her is through surgery, which costs $10,700.

This surgery is crucial for Kimi's survival and will give her a better chance at life. Without it, her condition will worsen, and the thought of losing her is something I hope I won't have to go through. Kimi means the world to me, my family, and my roommates. Despite her sassy demeanor, she has filled our home with love and joy. One of her favorite activities is sitting by my window to people-watch and see the cars go by. Her other favorite activity is having full blown conversations in meows.

I've already covered some of the initial medical costs and explored all other options, but as an unemployed college student yet to find a job, I'm still heavily struggling to scrap together funds necessary for her surgery as well as enough to continue to give her the best life I can afterwards as this surgery has put me in a tight financial situation. Every little bit counts, and your generosity will directly contribute to saving Kimi's life and ensuring she can be provided many more treats, cuddles, toys, and love for hopefully what could be many more years to come.
