We had to rush Kimchi to the vet a few days ago due to vomiting, lethargy, and disinterest in eating. After ruling out swallowing a foreign object through some expensive x-rays, Kimchi was diagnosed with Feline panleukopenia virus (also known as parvo). This is a dangerous, deadly disease that is most often seen in kittens, but he somehow got it as an adult cat.

If you know anything about me and Hakeem, you know our pets are our lives. We are doing everything to save Kimchi and nurse him back to health, but it has come with a hefty price tag.
