Hi, my name is Carrie, and whilst on holiday in Ölüdeniz, Turkey, I met a tiny kitten who changed my life. She was so small, fragile, and thin — but so full of love. She followed me, rubbed against my legs, jumped for strokes, and nibbled my feet as if to say: “Please, don’t leave me behind.”

I called her Kedi (the Turkish word for cat), and from the third day of my trip I knew I couldn’t walk away from her!

✨ Kedi’s Journey So Far

Kedi lived on the streets and became pregnant very young.

She carried her babies bravely, but life outside is harsh, and her litter tragically had to be terminated.

After the loss of her kittens, Kedi was left heartbroken, exhausted, and vulnerable.

She was taken into foster care — a huge relief — and has been slowly healing in a safe space ever since.

She’s already received:

✅ Emergency care after her pregnancy

✅ Parasite and flea treatment

✅ Vaccinations

✅ Blood tests

✅ Spay

✅ Ongoing foster support

She has been through so much, yet she remains gentle, loving, and trusting.

She deserves comfort and safety — not to be returned to the streets.

Why I’m Fundraising

I’m working to bring Kedi to the UK, where she’ll have a loving home for life.

I’ve already managed to pay £450 toward her costs, and I’m covering £100/month for her foster care while she waits.

But the remaining transport, paperwork, and care fees come to around £2,000, and I’m struggling to manage the total alone.

Right now I’m juggling:

• A new job

• Growing a small business

• ADHD

• Daily life

• Kedi’s monthly care

It’s become overwhelming — and I’ve reached a point where I can’t do this without help.

Time is Running

Sadly its now too late to save the hotel kittens :'(

And I don’t want Kedi to become another loss.

She is safe for now, but only while foster payments can continue.

I need help to secure her future here in the UK — where she’ll never have to struggle again.

My Heart

This has been emotionally and financially heavy, and I’ve felt overwhelmed trying to hold it all — which is why I’ve been posting less.

Life, ADHD, and trying to keep afloat with work and rescue costs has been a lot to manage.

But giving up on Kedi isn’t an option for me.

She has already lost everything —

I can’t let her lose her chance at life.
