Help save Kash Poo
Donation protected
A few months ago my son was playing with kash and all of the sudden a little nugget of poop fell out while they were playing. I didn’t think anything of it, I just thought maybe they were playing too hard. After that day, he started leaving nuggets everyday, he would make it almost to the doggy door, but not quite out the door.
I thought eventually it would pass, however it just kept getting worse. I took him to the vet and they told me it was probably behavioral and sent us home. A few days later he start walking funny and posturing weird. Then all the sudden I started noticing he was walking and pooping, walking and peeing, pooping while eating, while sleeping. He had no idea that he was pooping or peeing.
I took him to the vet again and told them something was wrong. They did bloodwork, tested for valley fever, and tick fever. They put a catheter in him and drained his bladder. they also did a urinalysis. Everything came back normal. They did an x-ray, and that showed that his bladder was extremely extended and full to the max. She said that any dog with a bladder that full would have to relieve themselves that something neurologically is not letting him let his pee out.
Finally, they told me that I needed a very expensive ultrasound I did that and that was normal as well. The only thing that was shown is that his bladder is very extended and he’s not able to release it, and that if it continues, his bladder will eventually burst.
The last step was, they told me he needed to go to a neurologist. I took him to the neurologist yesterday and she let me know a bunch of things that may be wrong, but she cannot diagnose anything without an MRI. The MRI is 4,500
and without it, he will continue to poop himself and pee himself and his bladder will eventually burst, and I will have to put him down, and he’s only four years old.
I have spent thousands of dollars over the last few few weeks that I didn’t have, and I’m all out of money. At this point I have no other options but to ask for help as I don’t want to put my best friend down. I’ve never loved Dogg the way I love him he’s such a sweet boy and he’s only four years old and I’m not ready to lose him. I know that it’s Christmas time and that everybody in the world is struggling but I thought I would give this a chance to see if we could save him.
