Kash is our beloved 12-year-old dog and my Veteran daughter's loyal service dog. He has been by her side through some of the most challenging moments, providing comfort, support, and companionship that only a service dog can offer. Recently, Kash faced a sudden and serious health crisis—he accidentally swallowed a piece of yarn from a new toy, which caused a dangerous blockage in his intestines. This has left our family heartbroken and worried, as Kash means the world to us and especially to my daughter, who relies on him every day.
After rushing Kash to the vet, we learned that he needs emergency surgery to remove the blockage. The estimate for his surgery, a three-day clinic stay, medications, and 24-hour care is overwhelming. We want to do everything possible to give Kash the best chance at recovery, but the unexpected expense is more than we can manage on our own. Kash has always been there for my daughter, helping her through difficult times, and now he needs our help more than ever.
We are reaching out to our community and kind-hearted supporters to ask for help in saving Kash. Your support will go directly toward his surgery and care, giving him the chance to return home and continue being the incredible service dog and companion he has always been. Please consider donating or sharing our story—every bit of help brings us closer to keeping Kash and my daughter together. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
