Please Help Save Kaiser, Our Loyal Rottweiler Who Needs a Blood Transfusion

Kaiser has been my best friend and family for 8 amazing years. He’s always been full of love, strength, and loyalty but now, he’s fighting for his life.

Over the past few weeks, Kaiser has lost more than 30 pounds. He’s become weak, tired, and barely eats. After rushing him to the emergency vet, the tests showed heartbreaking results. His blood work revealed that he’s severely anemic, with dangerously low red blood cell counts, hemoglobin, and hematocrit meaning his body isn’t getting the oxygen it needs to survive.

His platelet levels are also very low, which puts him at risk of internal bleeding. The vets diagnosed him with anemia and thrombocytopenia, conditions that can be caused by immune disorders, tick-borne diseases, or even internal bleeding. On top of that, his liver and kidney values are abnormal, with high bilirubin and ALT (liver enzyme) levels and high BUN, showing that his organs are struggling to keep up.

Right now, the only thing that can give Kaiser a fighting chance is a blood transfusion but it’s incredibly expensive. The treatment, hospitalization, and follow-up care are all costs that I simply can’t afford on my own.

Kaiser has been there for me through everything good days, heartbreaks, and every moment in between. Watching him fade away is breaking my heart. I just want to give him one more chance, one more tail wag, one more happy day.
