HELP SAVE K9 FAITH'S LEGS

Donation protected
We have an urgent situation for K9 Faith, the seizure-alert service dog of Dr. Alice Quinn.  Animal Medical Center in New York City has been helping Faith battle chronic Lyme Disease since last year, but last weekend this life-saving service dog was diagnosed with two torn ACL's by Dr. Emily Laston at Ellington Center Animal Clinic, and can’t even stand on her own. Faith’s family is facing $10,000 worth of corrective surgery expenses, just to help her walk again.

Alice has over 30 years expertise as a human animal behaviorist. She worked K9 search and rescue during 9/11 and in 2006 developed a terrible seizure disorder.  Alice taught Faith to call 9-1-1 for her.  In 5 years Alice has had over 2,000 seizures. Each time Faith has had to make a cognitive decision to call 9-1-1.  Faith has only needed to call five times, but each time Alice ended up in critical care and could have died without Faith’s intervention.

Faith saves Alice’s life every single day and now we have to save Faith’s life.  Faith just turned 7 years old and is now almost immobile.  Alice volunteers her time to train service dogs that help veterans, and now it is our turn to help her. Even if you just share our cause, every little bit helps. Thank you.
