Juneau is more than a family pet; she is shared by many. Juneau has been a pet therapy dog for the facility I work at for the past 6 years at a Senior Living Community. She brings joy to the lives of our seniors, especially our skilled area. Some individuals who hardly speak suddenly become vocal as they light up at the sight of her.
Juneau is only 7 and has been diagnosed with hepatic cancer. They saw spots on her lungs that they suspect are related, and we're getting a closer look. We've spent over $2,000 on her diagnosis, and it's another $3,000 to further examine the lung spots. If they are benign, it's another $5,000 for the surgery. This is more than we anticipated, and we're kindly asking for some help to save our Juneau. Thanks and God bless to those who support us with donations, prayers, and words of encouragement—every little thing helps.
