Our cat Juice who we got from the lost dogs home just under a year ago turned 1 in February. She absolutely loved being in the garden and exploring little bits of the neighbourhood.
On Wednesday (15/04/26) we saw Juice at 10am happy as a cat can be enjoying the garden. Later that night we found it odd that no one had seen Juice since. We tried calling out to her, shaking a treat bag, we drive and walked around hoping to spot her somewhere but nothing.
After 10pm we saw Juice pop her head into our room. We were unbelievably grateful to have her back we immediately picked her up for cuddles without thinking then placed her back on the ground and that's when we noticed her injured leg so we rushed Juice to the emergency vets.
Hours later the vets called us back after doing x-rays with a list of injuries
Pleurisy of the lung (inflammation of the membrane)
potential hip dislocation
open leg fracture on the back leg
slight pneumothorax of one lung (collapsed lung)
an internal wound caused by the open fracture
Scrapped claws as if she had been dragged
She was carelessly hit by a car and left to fend for herself. Juice is now in an oxygen box but is too unstable to be transported to a specialist for her leg surgery.
We are not asking for much at all. We just want your kind love, support and hopes Juice will make a full recovery. Any funds that are kindly donated will be put towards paying for Juices' vet bills, surgery and recovery.
