Hi everyone,

Update - Yesterday October 6th, 2025 after a series of attempts over a week to unblock Joy’s bladder and have him independently release normally, unfortunately Joy was unable to do so. Doctor’s advised he might have internal organ damage which may not recover given his condition so a surgery would not help. Hence, we had to make the decision and let him go. He will cremated this morning October 7, 2025. He was very active and on his funny cat behaviour until the last moments. He is a bright soul and will always be a part of my heart. RIP.

My beloved cat Joy (Age 3 years old) urgently needs your help.

A few days ago, he suffered a serious urinary blockage - a painful and life-threatening condition common in male cats. The vet had to insert a catheter to save his life and clear his bladder. The procedure was complete (twice in the past few days) but now he has another blockage , and now requires ongoing emergency care, hospitalization, and possible surgery to prevent this from happening again.

The costs have quickly become overwhelming. Between multiple vet visits, hospital stays, lab work, catheterization, medications, and potentially surgery, the bills are expected to exceed $10,000.

Joy is more than a pet - He is my family, my best friend, and a source of comfort every single day.
