On March 5th, I received heartbreaking news from my stepmother in Honduras. My father whom I have not seen in 2+ years because of the pandemic was admitted into a small clinic 4 hours away from the city of Tegucigalpa. He was later transferred to a hospital as his condition continued to deteriorate and the doctors were concerned that he would not make it. He was diagnosed with arterial hypertension and bilateral pneumonia with 70% lung capacity failure. My father has been in the hospital for over 10 days now with both his lungs infected undergoing tests and treatment and the doctors require him to stay in the hospital until his vitals stabilize and potentially undergo a surgery. My family’s livelihood has been impacted due to the pandemic and we have limited financial means to support our father in Honduras.

I have wiped out my savings to pay for the hospital bills. I am in desperate need of financial support to help my father recover under the right hospice care. My ASK is to help a single mother and daughter support her family through these trying times. Any contribution is greatly appreciated along with your kind wishes.
