Hello, and thank you so much for taking the time to read our story.

This is one of the hardest things we've ever had to write.

Ten years ago, we opened Jolly Jumpers Playzone with one simple dream: to create a safe, welcoming and affordable place where children could laugh, play, learn and make lifelong memories.

Since then, we've had the privilege of welcoming thousands of families through our doors. We've celebrated birthdays, watched babies take their first steps before returning years later as confident little explorers, seen friendships blossom and created a place where parents, grandparents and carers can meet over a cup of coffee while their children play safely.

Jolly Jumpers has become so much more than just a soft play centre. It's a place where our community comes together.

Sadly, today we're facing our biggest challenge yet.

Like so many independent businesses, the rising cost of simply keeping our doors open has become overwhelming. Every month we're faced with increasing costs for staff wages, electricity, gas, water, business rates, insurance and essential maintenance.

At the same time, visitor numbers have dropped significantly.

We completely understand why. Families everywhere are feeling the pressure of the cost of living, and many have no choice but to prioritise essentials over treats and days out. During the summer months, when the weather is kind, families naturally make the most of parks, beaches and other free activities.

For us, this can mean opening our doors for an entire day and welcoming just one family, while all of our running costs remain exactly the same.

We've done everything we possibly can to keep going. We've cut costs, worked longer hours and continued to give everything we have because we truly believe Jolly Jumpers is worth fighting for.

But we can't do it alone anymore.

Asking for help doesn't come easily, but we're asking because we believe our playzone is worth saving.

Every single donation—whether it's £2 or £200—will go directly towards helping us cover the essential costs of keeping Jolly Jumpers open. Your support will help us continue providing a safe, warm and welcoming space where children can simply enjoy being children.
