Help save Jay's eyesight

Hi, I'm Jermikel J. Dismuke but most of you know me by Jay. I am 31 years old and currently employed at Thomasville City Schools as the kitchen assistant. I play the bass guitar at First Presbyterian Church Thomasville, as well as serve as a team leader for Project Backyard & Red Hills Worship in Thomasville. I also participate in a group called "The Burning" on Wednesday nights with Victory Fellowship Church, and play bass guitar on occasion for the monthly Red Hills Worship Nights.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help me with my current medical situation. I recently met with my doctor, who told me that the glaucoma that I have been dealing with for the last 7 years has progressed to a point that requires laser eye surgery. Glaucoma is a condition of increased pressure within the eyeball, causing gradual loss of sight. Although I have insurance through my job at the school, my deductible is so high that I won't be able to afford the surgery any time soon with some help.

For this reason, I am asking for is $1,000.00 that will cover the bulk of the costs of my deductible and co-pay, which will allow me to get the laser eye surgery as soon as possible. The breakdown of these costs as as follows: My deductible is $214.24 plus a $25.00 co-pay, and the out of pock pay is $781.40.
