Help Save Jayla's Life
Our puppy Jayla is on life support at MedVet SLC and needs help to survive.
Yesterday, Jayla had a beautiful day swimming and playing fetch at East Canyon Reservoir.
Upon coming home, she became very sick– throwing up mud/bile/blood and quickly became unresponsive.
We rushed her to the ER and after some lab tests, the vet determined her liver is not functioning correctly (likely due to algae poisoning or a severe allergic reaction from something in the lake) and she'll die without plasma transfusions and ongoing care.
So far, Vivian has accrued over $3,500 in medical bills just to get Jayla through her first treatment.
This financial burden on Vivian is immense– especially with her being in school full-time. Vivian rarely asks for help and doesn't even know I'm posting this.
Our dog's life depends on getting enough medical care over the next few days.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. Donations are automatically deposited into Vivian's bank account.
I'll be sure to post updates on her condition here. Thank you for your help.
