First, thank you feels far too small.

Because of your generosity, prayers, and willingness to act when it mattered most, the immediate and urgent threat of losing our home and ranch was met. What felt impossible just days ago was answered with overwhelming love and provision. We are standing here today because of you.

We want to be fully transparent about what has been accomplished and what remains.

What your support has already done:

• Prevented the immediate loss of our home and ranch

• Stabilized our family as our 7-year-old son Jayce prepares to enter heart-transplant procedures far sooner than expected

• Allowed us to remain on the property that will become Faithful Horizons, an equine-assisted trauma recovery mission serving people healing from trauma, addiction, homelessness, and behavioral health challenges

What we are still facing:

• Severe flood damage:

• Loss of commercial construction equipment and active work, which is how our family earns a living

• Ongoing ranch stabilization needs, including:

– horse feed and winter care

– repairs to a run-down barn damaged by flooding

– building safe stalls for two therapy horses being donated by another foundation

• Entering winter with animals on-site and needing safe, secure shelter

• Unknown and upcoming medical-related expenses as Jayce enters transplant and recovery

This storm is not fully behind us — but because of you, we are standing in it instead of being swept away.
