Help Save Janelle's Eve and Ace

Many of you who have visited this gofundme page know Janelle Testa Bulan and if you know her, you know her love of all animals, especially horses.  Late this winter Janelle rescued from a kill pen, with the help of a Horse Rescue Group in Upstate New York, a beautiful Paint Horse named Eve.  Once Janelle agreed to save her, Eve was placed into a standard quarantine before going to her new home with Janelle and her family, which includes a few other rescue horses.  While in quarantine it was discovered that Eve was pregnant, and being the animal lover she is, there was no question, she was still going through with the adoption.  Not only was Eve being rescued but she was a gift for Janelle's young daughter....who also shares her Mom's love of horses, so there was no way Janelle would back out of the rescue.  
 
This weekend Eve gave birth to a beautiful foal....a male named Ace, seen here with his Mom just hours after his birth.  Ace, however, was born with a congenital birth defect, a scrotal hernia, which without going into the gory details needed Emergency Surgery.  While his surgery was taking place at Rhinebeck Equine in Rhinebeck, NY, his mother Eve was in a dire situation herself.  Eve had not passed her placenta after birth and also needed Emergency attention with IVs, antibiotics and her placenta had to be removed at the Animal Hospital as attempts at the barn after birth were not successful. 

I am happy to say at this point that both Mother and Son are resting comfortably at Rhinebeck Equine and the next 24-48 hours are still very crucial for both of them.  Like I said, if you know Janelle, you know she loves animals, being a Vet Tech herself her whole world revolves around her pets and while this is going on with Eve and Ace, she is always dealing with the dreaded Histio Cancer diagnosis to her beloved 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog named Chloe.  Janelle has spared no expense in caring for her animals and this situation has take a toll on her financially.  This is not easy for her to do, ask for help, but that is what we are doing.  If you can find it in your heart to give to this fund to help with the expenses of Eve and her beautiful foal Ace, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.  From the bottom of our hearts to yours, thank you all so much for all your love and support, Janelle is so touched by everyone's outpouring of love and concern.
