Help save jack my best friend

Dear friends and family, I am so sorry to have to ask, but I feel that I have no choice and I have nowhere else to turn.
Three days ago, my three year old half boxer/half pitfall Jack unexpectedly stopped eating. He was having trouble breathing. When I took a closer look I noticed a tennis-ball size lump on Jack's throat. I immediately brought Jack to DMV Veterinarian on 54th Ave in Lachine. Initially they tried to drain the lump, but they were unsuccessful. I then made the decision to have the vet operate to remove the lump at the cost of $4,000 CAD. Jack was kept overnight for observation. Overnight his condition began to deteriorate, his face began to swell, and he was unable to breath on his own. Since yesterday Jack has been in intensive care on an assisted breathing unit. The vet informed me that they do not currently have a prognosis and until the post operation swelling goes down, they will not know whether or not the surgery was a success. He may need to remain in intensive care for up to 72 hours. Unfortunately this is an expense I simply can no longer afford. Each day is $1,500 CAD. In total Jack's expenses incurred have already reached $7,000.00 CAD (2x days in intensive care plus operation costs). I expect that the total bill will amount to approximately $10,000.00 CAD.
I know it may seem silly. After all, Jack is only a dog. But to me he's not just a dog. He's not simply a pet. He's my best friend. He's a big part of my family. Anyone that truly knows me, knows he means the absolute world to me.
Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
