Help Save Jack - Emergency Surgery Needed for Our Sweet Boy
Beschermde donatie
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and a desperate plea to help save our dog, Jack, a loving and energetic German Shorthaired Pointer who means the world to us.
Over the past few days, Jack’s appetite started to fluctuate, and we noticed he was losing weight. Three pounds in just one week. This morning, he threw up a lump of hair and some debris, and we rushed him to the vet, knowing something was very wrong.
After x-rays and multiple tests, we were told the heartbreaking news: Jack has a foreign object lodged deep in his digestive tract, dangerously close to his small intestine. Because of where it’s located, it can’t be removed non-surgically. The only option to save his life is invasive emergency surgery, and it has to happen as soon as possible.
The cost of the surgery is up to $10,000, and we’re devastated to say we simply don’t have the funds. We’re calling every nonprofit, emergency fund, and low-cost vet option we can, but time is running out.
We don’t want to lose him. Jack is more than a pet- he’s our family. He’s playful, loyal, and loves being around people. If you’ve ever known the love of a dog, you know how deeply this hurts.
We’re humbly asking for any support you can give- whether that’s a donation, a share, or even just words of encouragement. Every dollar helps us get closer to giving Jack the surgery he needs to survive and heal.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, supporting, and helping us fight for Jack.
With love and hope,
Alyssa and Fernando
